In the last 10 years of so, a lot of people seems to think it's ok to be an awful human being as long as as you hide behind some specific labels and aim that awfulness to specific things, because that allows them to delude themselves into thinking that they're morally superior.

Who needs being an actually good person when you can get validated online for being a jerk?
