Yea and the moment he become Hokage he dedicate all his time to keep the peace he worked for up. Minato also wanted a peacefull world. That similar to Wuk and her father, not the same exact thing of course.

3. The local population doesn't hate Wuk Lamat

Hence why I added the /cringe right after hate. The vast majority of people don't support her and react the same way people react to Naruto when he just go around and scream he will become Hokage.

4. Naruto is hated by everyone

False, Kakashi don't ever hate him, Jiraya don't ever hate him. Shikamaru just consider him anoying rather than hating him (and that ignoring those filler where they just retcon it and decide they were friends all along as kid). And that like the 3 first that come to mind.

5. Naruto doesn't become friends with everyone for no reason

I shouldn't have used the words ''no reason'' here. It more like it take low effort on his part to switch people mind about it when the plot demands it. Like you said, he just talk no jutsu people out of doing warcrime.

There's also the factor that "low self-confidence" is often used in bad writing as a cop-out flaw "since there has to be one", one of those Mary Sue classics, and overcoming it as a main thing feels intrinsically unearned. It's the game/story/medium telling us "she's actually already awesome, she just has to realise how awesome she is". That's nothing, and doesn't feel like real development.

The amazing thing is, all of her flaws are like this. And I do mean her actual, writer-accounted-for flaws, not stuff people have observed that are completely invisible as far as the writing is concerned. It's all just easy cop-outs that all avoid tarnishing the writer(s) creation in any way.

So I have this character, and like, she's amazing. But she totally doesn't realize it, in fact she lacks confidence. Also she's like, totally too trusting? She's just that kind and respectful, even if it comes off a bit naive y'know? She also gets sick in any form of travel vehicle which is suuuuper inconvenient for her. Oh oh and she's a bit of a klutz, like not dramatically because it would disturb serious moments but sometimes she gets teased about it. Oh and before I forget, she's totally way too energetic, sometimes people will get annoyed at that but I think it's totally cute and it's coming from her living life at 120% so I lowkey vibe with it, to be honest ... Oh wait, I did forget something. She's kinda young and maybe a bit sheltered so she's goin' to be just a lil' bit inexperienced with stuff so bear with her please.

None of these are flaws. None of them. Forget not being punished or limited by them, all of these only exist to endear the character to the viewer. Even if the plot did bring attention to them they would still be weak flaws.

Why should Wuk Lamat burst throught the fight in Queen Eternal and be like, oh Sphene, lemme talk to your heart pls, we're besties and I can save you, when they've known each other for like, three hours tops. And no, I can't accept that it's because they "desperately wanted peace but one couldn't achieve it whilst the other can" or something like that, it's not enough. It's not earned.

I cringed like hell when Zenos came throught the barrier with Endsinger, but at least it was sortof earned since the guy wouldn't leave us alone and absolutely wanted to be the one to kill us.
