Fun fact, if you go watch the cut scenes in the Unending Journey in an inn room, they're still unskippable.

I miss 8 man prae, was super long but the funny shenanigans with 8 people can be super entertaining. Unpopular opinion for sure but hey I just enjoy funny antics sometimes. The tome and EXP earned was a good trade imo. Somewhat sad new players will never get to experience old prae or the hardest fight ever conceived, "cape westwind" in it's "prime".
Erenville: <sigh> Forgive me. I'm afraid traveling with our new Dawnservant may have scarred me for life...
WoL: Samesies.
Yep. Pick one and try it out if you don't believe me. I think either the intro to Castrum or the scene after the fight with Nero are the shortest.
Although, oddly, the outro scenes and the intro to the first part of the Ultima Weapon fight are skippable. The outros, I suppose, are so people can just head out after the dungeon's done, but the Ultima intro is a random choice. Maybe they thought about keeping it at eight players and moving it into the trial roulette like the later end-of-expac bosses? I dunno, pure speculation.
They're also unskippable if you unsync, but that's less surprising.
That's because there are too many people out there who think it's okay to have huge time wasters. Sure, you get good EXP. I'm forced to do MSQ Roulette to get the extra XP I need to level things. It takes 40 minutes for Prae if you're slow, 30 if people are adept at their level 50 rotations. It's just so long... That's all I'm getting at. But there are too many people who go "If YoU dOn'T lIkE iT, dOn'T qUeUe FoR iT!" Because THAT solves the problem... *rolls eyes*
And you get a jump. And YOU get a jump. AND YOU get a jump! JUMPS FOR EVERYONE!
If they take out the cutscenes then they'll also take out the big chunk of EXP you get for it. At which point, why would you bother to queue for it?That's because there are too many people out there who think it's okay to have huge time wasters. Sure, you get good EXP. actually, it does actually solve the problem. the chunk of exp you get is recompense for your time. That's because there are too many people out there who think it's okay to have huge time wasters. if you dont like the cutscenes, you have exactly one option.. dont queue. its really that simple. if you want the basically free exp and tomes, well, then thats entirely your call. there are plenty of other ways to get both tomes and exp without having to whine about it. may want to look into those.
also, havent seen a Prae that long since it was 8 person content. these days is fast and quick, maybe half hour tops, and its not always the best groups either/ never seen a 40 minute run on the new ones... ever....
