Because we couldn't , Zarool ja died and revived he would have revive again anyway and order the attack on the city now instead, letting him leave there was the opportunity to regroup and plan a counter attack which we did. Zarool Ja failed because he was too prideful as for Gulool Ja it was his duel and technically he still won Zarool Ja cheated

Nah. We could have attacked him then and there. We the warrior of light and the scions. We faced so many threats and are so powerful. We saved the star and the universe. There is no reason to fear him. How do we know he would revive again? Why not at least try to stop him? It don't make sense.

Idk he had the whole city as hostage and even if it was obvious we didnt know about how Regulator worked even if it was obvious for us the player if we would have destroy his regulator than maybe yeah it could have worked

Zoraal Ja is still a low level threat and it's not like we haven't fought people before who could bring themselves back from death (Warriors of Darkness) or channel the power of beasts like in the Temple of the Fist dungeon.

Its more Zoraal ja army the problem at the time of when you meet him in his enhenced version proof that he wasn't strong enough is Wuk actually managing to damaging him and his ego got hurt so much that he did what we tried to avoid which is ordering the assault on tural but this time we were ready to fight back and so he change plan to become stronger he decided to kill Alexandrian Civilian to use their souls truthfully Zoraal Ja never was strong until the Trial he just had all the cards in his hands to manipulate us but deep down Zoraal Ja is just a sore looser that can only win via cheating but honestly between Sphene and Zoraal Ja i prefer Zoraal ja just because he was a foul and cruel villain that had no shame showing his colors

I think one the reason I like Zoraal Ja is because of something in psychology called the "Banality Of Evil" Zoraal ja isn't a great threat like Emet , Zodiack or Meteion and yet without being superior in any way he was still dangerous for how banal he think of the pain he cause because he truly don't care no crazy super power no crazy back story just a "Man" (if i can put it this way) full of pride that went out his ways to accomplish his ambitions Krile saw it before everyone else sometimes evil comes from things you expect the less and if you dont believe me look at the human history how many normal humans alsmost destroyed the world not because they were supernatural or with godlike power but because they wanted to and they did

I don't think that makes sense either because the city was already under attack and people were being killed. What would make more sense is if we tried to capture him but he broke free using his new power and retreated.

yeah I guess he did teleport away inside the barrier back to Everkeep tho I dont know if capturing him would have worked but sure worth the try

I see two parts to that. First, in the immediate aftermath of Gulool Ja Ja's death, we're both in shock for a moment and have absolutely no clue what other powers Zoraal Ja might have or how strong he really is. Remember, we also dueled Gulool Ja Ja to a stalemate, and after "powering up" Zoraal Ja was able to toss him aside like he was nothing. Second, Zoraal Ja then immediately offers his "challenge" to Wuk Lumat and acknowledges that he will stop the attack currently happening while he waits for us. Attacking him right there means his own attack on the city continues, and Tuliyollal at that point had no real defense. Letting him go offers us that opportunity.

This was obviously because Gulool Ja Ja was having a duel. Which means one-on-one. Nobody is to interfere. It would be an insult to Gulool Ja Ja's pride to do so after all the battles he'd won. This was obvious to me but it was clarified by Wuk Lamat too. Sure he was at risk, but how can you insult the famous Gulool Ja Ja by saying he's not good enough? He did even win, initially.

After he killed him, well, medically assisting was more important... last words etc.
