I guess the new direction pushed all the right buttons for you then.
I take from that you like clear defined roles like in old school JRPG's? At least for me that was the feeling I got from the story and it didn't resonate with me at all.

Might I ask how you would like the story to proceed further from here?
I just find it interesting how the story has such an "only two way of reception" with people either liking or hating it.

Anyway it's great you liked it. I hope I can have a story again that does that for me.

I love the begining with the competition because it limit what your character can actually do even if for exemple Bakool jaja cheated many times you CAN'T kill him because its againts the rule compared at sometime in other DLC the main bad guy is in front of you nothing stop you from trying something but no your character watch and do nothing beside that the zone and the level design of some aspect really hooked me up to see more. When I did the Skydeep Cenote dungeons and see the electrope structure I really went : "Holy s* what in the destiny 2 bullsh*it is that" in a good way I WANTED to know what was on the other side I wanted to see and know how tf did it get here and after that when I finally was starting to like Erenville character BOOM the dome apear and he say that is house is over there it urge me to go foward

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself OP I had different expectations from how they went, so I was a bit disappointed in parts, but in general, I think the expansion will end up being positive. The map/music/dungeons/combat in particular were awesome.

Yes I gotta say that all of these really made me want to continue the only place I didn't like much is the Living Memory althougth you weren't really here for you only it was more for your compagnions so it is fine but it did feel like a drag

This is actually the only bad thing about Dawntrail...

Yes SE needs to fix that for all aetherytes (this can be annoying in hunt trains) but especially that one. Actually they could increase the range all objects can be interacted with a bit just so that nothing is left out. It is really annoying to be next to something but somehow not regarded as such by the game.

A positive opinion would be a lot more effective if it weren't prefaced basically by saying, "I'm only here giving my positive opinion because I've seen so many negative opinions and I feel defensive about it."

Like, it's okay to have a positive opinion; it's great if you enjoy the game. But if you're only here because you feel like the game needs defending from other people's opinions, it's more likely that you're defending yourself and feel like your identity, as someone who likes the game, is being attacked.

I thought it was good, but I knew somehow people on the forums would think differently because they always do. It doesn't matter what SE does, it will always be a negative sentiment here. And I saw it being seen positively in the game so I thought I'd add a little positivity to the forums instead of procrastinating on sharing my experience of it.

How did you feel when our character and the others just stood there and didn't stop Zaruul Ja after he killed Gulool Ja?
