    Nah it's the same as all big fandoms, they behave cult like real quick. I think it was Terry Pratchett who had a joke about it in one of his book, about how people so quickly form religions around things.

    No need for jokes in that regard, that is just human nature.
    We tend to form groups with like-minded individuals and then defend that social consensus against opposing opinions.
    When in such a group, many people give up objectivity for fear of being removed if they speak against the grain, and there you have it: a "cult" is born.

    That being said: I feel that the cult in this forum is more about complaining than actually liking the game. When I say that I like the new characters, people look at me funny. When I say that I like Wuk Lamat, they want to examine my head (not in a good way). *shrug*
