I dont think the merge really helped much

So after being faithful to the game outside a brief hiatus post-release and completing all job quests in 2 days and no one doing raids past the af boxes I basically walked away for awhile. Which was also good timing since I was getting my business going. But now we have merged and yada yada yada. I come back, my ls broke, reformed and seems to be sitting idle with no chats no events no nothing. And I have sat in ul'dah for a few hrs each day for a week and have not really heard /sh for anything but exp pts. Granted there may be other things going on but its been all jp /sh really.

So we merged, we got some raids and what not and still nothing? 1.22 is coming yeah i know...slow period pre-patch yeah i know. And to boot I found 1 ls recruitment post.

There are about 200 ppl standing in ul'dah and outside the jp /sh there is nothing? I would start a pt but since I dont know the raids I dont want to lead ppl to thier deaths. Seriously if you are in Gungnir and have an active friendly ls please let me know.

If I have to do another round of crafting leves to occupy my time Im going to start taking out the Lalafel

Do you play NA prime? If you do then yes, nobody really do pickup raids at NA prime. It's very dead compare JP primetime, where you will find at least 10 recruitment for raids/quests, you dont even need to be in Ul'Dah because they utilizes recruitment.

Im on at about 7pm-11pm est usually. Longer when I have something to do lol.

But I dont really join jp pts (exp pts excluded) due to the language barrier, even when you know the raids/fights jp is usually different from na and if no one can speak english you die like a noob 10 times before the end lol

yep now its finding where recruitment postings are, filling out the apps, testing the waters...

I used it 3 times the other week to seek dungeon raiding. Twice I got a tell within 15 minutes to join a party. Not sure we should completely write it off.

The search does work well.

If ppl just used the search it would be so much easier to get groups.

Everyone complains no one partys in XIV outside linkshell but then no one uses the tools to make partys. Shouting in uldah is really a poor way to make partys... Since shout's range is very limited and it is only 1 zone where the search is the whole world.

If 80% of the people who wanted a party outside linkshells used the seek party tool, leveling and progressing in XIV would be so much easier for everyone.
