I am looking forward to how they will add tutorials for using search, and making it a little more user-friendly (now, if you did not know how to use it, you would not know it was even possible to use it!)

Would make a lot of people happier I think if it was brain-dead-superly-obvious-extra-simple to use.

Or at least a logon message that says: Go see <person> at the Adventurer's hall for an exciting new quest on how to use Search!

And then tie that to an achivement. Might help ^.^

Im on at about 7pm-11pm est usually. Longer when I have something to do lol.

But I dont really join jp pts (exp pts excluded) due to the language barrier, even when you know the raids/fights jp is usually different from na and if no one can speak english you die like a noob 10 times before the end lol

You should try before saying bullshit lol JPs raids pick ups are pretty straightforward and quite good pts, at least on Gungnir, have been doing Speed runs pick ups with JPs for a few weeks now and all you gotta do most of the time is follow them and not suck, agro stuff, ponds, etc... ~ (I don't speak any japanese either, google translator~ lol)

Just start a group and say that you are practicing the raid. I did that the past few weeks and I literally got 5-6 /tells within seconds, although I only needed 2 people. Before the merges I would probably have to wait 30 min to an hour to get 1-2 people. So far people in the casual linkshells have been pretty good players and really aim to follow directions and such.

I also do check out both searches and use them to look for groups/members, so there are people that use it. Maybe after 1.22 and the free trial week comes along I'll shout at people to use the lodestone guide for it.

Our LS usually plays evenings starting at around 8-9 Pacific time, sometimes earlier, depending on how many people are on. We do stuff on occasional random weekdays whenever people are able to get on, but definitely do things Fridays and Saturdays. Anyways, if you want to come along with us for some dungeon raids I'd be happy to invite you if we have a spot open. I wish I could offer a pearl but we don't just hand them out immediately to strangers without spending some time w/ them first.
