Meanwhile in GW2 you will have account-based housing, in august, in a buy to play forever game; you'll never lose your house. I highly recommend GW2; not everyone will like it of course, but it doesn't hurt to try.

square enix should've fixed housing way back in heavensward; instead they decided to divert money and resources to make FFXV: medeival version, I mean FFXVI. Instead of apartments they should've added account based instanced housing while still keeping those big shared wards. Alternatively they could've upgraded the shared wards to allow people to grow small houses into large ones.

This is the problem with xiv's development cycle, it's so bad that our feedback can't be taken into account until 6-8 years later now. With an ever growing time between expansions it's a slow moving train. Dawntrail has been amazing though but the competition's innovating better and faster in my honest opinion.
