    I don't believe the first boss in Alexandria needs any adjustments to make healing easier. You can burn it and the third boss down without a living healer from at least ~55% health (probably the second, too, but our healer managed to actually stay alive through *most* of the second boss fight, so I don't have a point of reference for that one). Actual savage raiders may not even need a healer at all—someone that actually plays at that level feel free to chime in and correct me if needed.

    This is a functionally bad job design choice as they have fixed this in other jobs But have failed to reset your resources upon resurrection inside a dungeon. Starting an encounter with 3 Lilies is no different than starting one with 3 stacks of Addersgal. There is no real reason not to restart an encounter without having all 3 Lilies.

    Misunderstanding of what the game is

    Hi original poster,

    Please re-read other replies here and reflect. Other people have posted valid responses to the problems that you are having and some of your replies show that you have not actually gone back into the game and re-tested things to learn. The most obvious is your reply about tank enmity. A tank with stance on who has used provoke once (and once again, after dying, if applicable) will never, never lose enmity to a healer, even if that tank is just pressing their 1, 2, 3 rotation over and over. Square Enix has developed the game specifically to guarantee that, so that players don't have to argue about enmity management.

    The other debates are similar but since there are so many healer options it gets complicated, but the short version is that you have fundamentally misunderstood many mechanics of the game.

    It is not fair to demand that the developers change content because you are unwilling to learn. If you open the game, go back to a training dummy with whoever played tank, and test some of these things that posters have mentioned, you will learn that your assumptions have been incorrect, and what you learn will allow you to clear that boss.

    I don't post this to be mean, but because I enjoy the Dawntrail normal mode content a lot; it is a huge improvement, and myself and all of my friends that I have asked are very positive about it compared to previous content, and I don't want to lose these improvements over invalid feedback.

    If you aren't willing to think creatively and spend 15 minutes testing things on a training dummy then please do not ask the developers to make changes that will make other players bored and unhappy. If that commitment is too much, then this is not the right game for you (and nor would be any MMO)

    If you make the dungeons in this game any easier you may as well not even be playing the game. Do you want just 1 mechanic bosses that you can just dps and not move at all? Sounds like you just want to play with 0 effort at all

    PLD was fixed because sheltron requires meter that generates from autos. SGE was given addersgal at start as majority of it's kit would otherwise not be available for 20 seconds with only one skill that gives 1 addersgal on a 90 sec CD. SCH was not given this as aetherflow is on a 60 sec CD and if things went south, they can use disspation to get 3 more stacks at the cost of losing fairy for 30 seconds. Developers likely didn't do this because lilies is tied to WHM's strongest DPS ability and you're only locked out of 3 actions (2 that are only available from Shadowbringers on) with the remainder of it's kit still intact.

    Have you actually played Sage?

    you are capping, this has to be bait. I refuse to believe that someone can play the same game for more than 10 years and not recognize patterns or engage with the basic mechanics of said game. I've only been playing for a year and I just went into the dungeon as a healer to see if its actually that hard to heal. It is piss easy. You don't need godlike reaction speed. There is at least a 5 second delay between the telegraphs of the cone mechanic to appear and for it to resolve. The delay for the crosses and the circles is even longer. And even if it hits you ( i got hit) it doesn't one-shot you. The boss has only 3 mechanics. Compare this to older dungeons, for example the dragon in "the burn", or a normal trial like elidibus. In what galaxy is this a big ramp up in difficulty?
