Frontlines sucks Ultra megathread

I just think FL would be a lot more fun if everyone queued in with the mindset of "I want to win!" instead of "Is there a premade in here? Can I just run it down and lose faster?".

I don't expect the general mindset to change, but it would be nice if people actually tried their best rather than phone it in for exp.

yes that and on shatter not having whole team be all over the map like chickens giving both enemy teams free points and free 1st/2nd
and your team "shocker" lowscore third with 2 or 3 ppl only actually putting an effort to win
shame lowscore third isnt removed
this is about pugs btw not premades as i only do 1 daily FL a day

I'd suggest if you're only playing one match a day, you have less data than those of us that play far more than that, and can get a better feel for game texture with and without premades. I share your frustration with people who don't try, but would argue they have been "beaten into" that despondency, to use Olivia's charming terms, by the oppressive presence of premades.

last season/s ive grinded to last 2 series level 25s for the mounts and ive had plenty of lowscore third losses with ppl who dont even try/want tomes or free exp for no reason
very few 1st places and few second places which happened because the third team either overextended or lost one skirmish over a node then we ganked them back to their spawn(seal rock seize?)
regardless of statistics or whatnot its still annoying to have people who dont even try to win in your team

I don't know how it is on your server, but on Aether I've found a pattern. Immediately after reset, games are poor and chaotic. Afternoon, most games are decent with active participation. Evening, it all goes to crap again as premades queue up. This is also when the worst hostility breaks out and is quite unpleasant. Also I can't say if this applies to Shatter since I don't play it.

This trend has become more noticeable since DT launched.

I don't know how it is on your server, but on Aether I've found a pattern. Immediately after reset, games are poor and chaotic. Afternoon, most games are decent with active participation. Evening, it all goes to crap again as premades queue up. This is also when the worst hostility breaks out and is quite unpleasant. Also I can't say if this applies to Shatter since I don't play it.

i am on zodiark
i dont like the shatter map aswell some days when it is the daily map i dont wanna queue
but lowscore third exp is not worth the loss even for an alt job(like me with paladin for the last of the DT role quest chains,but since theres no DT allied society version or the arkasodara dailies yet)

my previous post was that ive had good and not so good teams when referring to previous 2 seasons series grind to 25 for either a mount or glam coffer
difference in DT fls compared to the 2 seasons in EW is i play only 1 frontline match per day(because of either getting too many wins/1st places or too many lowscore/any score third places)if you play more than 1 frontline match
teams who get enough score for 2nd place is possible but ive only seen some good comebacks in hakair and seal rock seize only when the third group overextends or makes a mistake to split up

that is good to know i guess my only annoyance is with a few certain players being spread all over the map(i dont know what is their real reason for doing that)
(if this happens only when shatter is the daily map or on all of them i cant say for sure?)
