Bumping this to add that I hope the devs reconsider this. There isn't that much armor with this aesthetic in the game, and I don't want to have to give up my tail to use it. If it really can't be changed, I would be curious to hear the rationale. It's not like the Moonward set, where there's multiple layers of cloak and tunic in the way-- it's armor that's almost perfectly flush to the body, so there's no real clipping to avoid.
