i can and proud to take your offer, after all she's the only reason i popped back in forum ever since ARR
anyway, Arcadion is more enjoyable and feels a whole lot more "adventourous vacation" we were promised, and the fight is actually worth looking forward to savage![]()

She’s the base breaking character trope. What do you expect?
They pushed her into the spotlight more than anyone else in the past. A certain level of reaction should be no surprise.
Also it’s a new expansion not even a month old. Of course people talk about it.

It's amazing to me that the brief voice acting we get in these post patch quests far exceeds in quality anything we saw in the entirety of the MSQ

The premise may be simple, but this instantly felt like a return to form. It felt much more engaging having characters actually talk to you and ask your opinion in dialogue choices. S9 is an amazing setting and naturally makes for interesting storytelling. The boss fights had some really entertaining mechanics, and I'm sure the twists that Savage adds will be even better. Psychonekrosis seems like a fusion of Eikonic Corruption with Cyberpunk's cyberpsychosis, but I'm still interested in seeing what they do with it.
The only missed opportunity was in putting Stone, Sea, Sky in Heritage Found instead of the Tritails gym. Speaking of which, we need to get all their stuff for housing - the crossed ceiling lights, the stacked monitors at the workstation, the glowing lockers, the squat racks, and the indoor training dummies (which should be made usable). If the equipment was interactable it probably would end up being my go to idle spot.
I'm curious who wrote this scenario. If it was Daichi Hiroi then I'm somewhat hopeful for the future, but if not, the MSQ team definitely needs to be taking notes. I hope we get more content hooked off of S9, including the Exploratory Content and Deep Dungeon.

It had some of the same directorial problems, like you finish a cutscene and then you talk to the quest NPC standing directly in front of you and a cutscene starts.
The main difference is that it's not that long and you do 4 good fights during it, so there's not a lot of room to be bored by it.

It reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho almost instantly! I just missed seeing the Emcee with a microphone in hand during the fights and random attack thrown at the audience lol.

It probably also helps that the cutscenes seemed kinda fluid. It had some of the same directorial problems, like you finish a cutscene and then you talk to the quest NPC standing directly in front of you and a cutscene starts.

Take the one with the drinks and cheers for example or Eutrope running out of the room.
It was not just standing around and nodding but actually people doing stuff.
The dialogue choices also added some.
Our character actually had expressions this time.
Maybe I exaggerate but to me at least the scenes seemed more small stuff adding up instead.
Also like you said. The scenes are way shorter and don‘t drag on as long.
