Nah. We already used Time Travel twice in the game, and if we make time travel easy, we basically open the box of "Why not just go back to Elpis and undo existence."

The rules of time travel established in this game is closed-loop hard-predestination paradox. Predestination "We gave Venat the idea to become Hydalynn in the first place, in turn Hydalynn gave us the power to surpass mortal limits when we come into existence (a la 1.0) and (wake up on that ship to La Noscea/Enter Ul'dah/Wander aimlessly through the twelveswood)"

The only wiggle room we have for time travel is re-introducing story beats from 1.0 via the echo migrane. If the developers want a straight up free-content idea, literately send WoL back to the 1.0 opening cutscene (We've seen the ship cutscene used twice, so we KNOW they can do this) and so what we did with Venat with Thancred, Y'shtola and Yda&Papalymo. Go back and BTTF ourselves by "steering" our 1.0 selves up to the battle of battle of carteneau. They can side-step the changes in the overworld by revisiting only the parts that involve plot beats, and using the echo to go back and forth (Eg having to go to the location in the present, use the echo migrane time travel and then replay the 1.0 story beat.)

Now, how much of 1.0 do I think we really need to see? Well all the holes in the story that keep being referenced, but non-legacy players have no idea what is being referred to.
edit: The level 60 Alchemist plotline is a reference back to the 1.0 Ul'dah starting path.
