I think a good chunk of it may be that people are used to going off the orange telegraphs and genuinely don't know they need to watch their surroundings. I did EX1 last night and a healer kept dying because they didn't realise they needed to look where the boss was moving. When pointed out, there were no more problems with the mechanic.

That being said, I'm completely fine with Trust dungeons being made easier if that's what some people need. I don't agree with the baseline dungeon difficulty being lowered at all, however. The jump in difficulty from Normal to Extreme is already fairly big, we don't need that gap to widen any more. While there are a few duties I would love to never see again, I have a feeling implementing that feature would just cause some particularly unpopular ones being nigh impossible to queue into for people who need them (hi Chrysalis, Crystal Tower raids, Nier raids, etc.).

Chrysalis is the best candidate for being turned into a solo duty. It's a weird duty that literally no-one likes and it doesn't have an EX version.

That way you can avoid the content you REALLY don't like, but it will hardly have an impact on queue times for players who need to do it (and if it actually does have a significant impact, Square Enix will know that they REALLY need to change something about those duties)

Maybe this is a bit self serving, because i loathe the Nier raids and have been hesitant on using the alliance raid roulette out of fear of encountering them...
Oh thank god. I can stop having Aurum Vale, Stone Vigil, and Sastasha, the Amdapor dungeons other than Keep (Normal), Chrysalis, Thordan (We're so powercrept that the trial is FUBAR even at minimum item level.), Endsinger, A2, A9, E12, LotA (The other 2 Crystal Tower raids are ok. LotA isn't.), Mhach, and Thaleia show up in roulettes.

Start of expansion: Blah blah stuff is too hard

One month into expansion: Blah blah facerolling all the casual content.

We are currently in between these periods of time.

The point of a roulette is that you can get all the related content.
Wanting to be able to ban duties from roulette (except mentor???) shows that you don't care about the game or the point of roulettes, but just about your personal preference.

Don't want to redo dungeons? Don't queue them/the roulette they're in.

Not with players, no. What we need at the current time is NPC/Trusts to be literally 100% easier at all times to do any of the content in the game (along with trusts being able to do roulettes ###.)
That's the only thing I agree with. After thinking about this, the only way it would be possible is to reduce tomes and exp by half if not more and no to roulettes. Otherwise everyone would do it instead of the DF.
As for your attitude it's terrible.

lol love it and defo the solution.

As for not getting new expansion dungeons, op can always queue for the duty of their choice (there’s a way to not get the DT dungeons but I refuse to explain it as it entails behaviour I don’t support). I use duty support when available to unlock a dungeon as I like the immersion with the npcs and their comments and I can take my time to look around as well as read notes when there are some. I wouldn’t want an easier dungeon though. I find them also useful when trying a new job.

Anyway, op likely has a raid awareness problem and tunnel vision and needs to learn to look around and observe the environment. Maybe watch a guide for the dungeons if they can’t figure it out or learn them with a (patient) friend while in voice so they can tell them what to watch for (I helped someone who was probably the worse player ever).
Probably the only person I'll mostly reply to in here, the problem is I shouldn't have to do the steps you don't wish to explain which I won't either for the sake of the integrity of your original post. But it seems I have to go into that behaviour since there is no other option to actually be able to opt out of content I don't want and paid for as there should be options already to factor out all of the things YOU personally don't wanna do. Anyhow.

As you said I do have a "tunnel vision" problem and the problem is; it shouldn't be a problem for msq what so ever. Like it has not been for the past 5 expansions. I don't wish to turn brain completely off like the terrible posts of the 2nd page. However, I am looking to be able to FEEL like I can complete it. Not get completely annihilated by every single dungeon or boss having a 1 shot mechanic in basically every single dungeon. Or not having the reaction time.

Yes. I do have reactionary problems. However when I play MSQ, I opt in for a CASUAL experience. Not midcore. Which is what Dawntrails is at this current time. Even if they lowered the damage SIGNIFICANTLY lower in some cases and removed 1 shot mechanics from the MSQ. That would be fine by me as well I think my post was heavily more aggressive then I should have posted and should redo it. But its here now.

But in terms of tunnel vision, reaction times etc. I watch videos over 5+ times per thing I'm unlocking or doing. Simply because of this, but overall it doesnt matter. My brain cannot multi-task in this way. However, same time this entire expansion is miles too hard for the casual playerbase especially with how much we have been trained to be over the years and past expansions.

Though as someone else said, seems I should stop doing content all together till its nerfed with echo and I have the best gear in the game after 2 years of the expansions release. Sad honestly.

Yeah, this is the problem with gameplay difficulty scaling. It's uncreative, just the same thing but do it more perfectly. Stand in the safe spot faster. FF needs new fresh ideas and mechanics to go forward because maybe i dont think it's too hard, i just think it's not fun.

Part of it is framework limitations from 1.0, but that's up to the devs to figure out.

I think a good start is to google "games for toddlers". Take a break from ff.
