The second link is actually a great example of showing what you're looking for! I've seen quite a few posters on the JP forums doing similar things and I think that kind of feedback is actually very helpful for them.Very true! Here’s mine:
My edit to show what my face could look like if certain technical problems were resolved and the facial features regained their former shapes.
An exhaustive analysis comparing the before and after between 6.x and 7.0’s meshes and textures on my character for the purposes of reference and discussion.
I don’t know if it’s possible to work harder to provide feedback. If it is, let me know and I’ll do it. I don’t have a good life, so this game has been my escape and comfort for years. I’d do just about anything to regain the familiarity and attachment I used to feel for my WoL.

I already did the feedback in all the threads in this forum about the graphics. Also messaged them using supportdesk and I send them pictures using the bug report and suggestion box. I did all I could. (If you people didn't know you can do also that, please do. It doesn't mean it will reach them, but if many people do it, maybe yes). What people say and what they actually do are two different things. There’s a famous post on Steam where a lot of people joined a boycott CoD group and if you looked at what those players were doing, a lot were playing CoD.
They’re never going to bring the old models back so the best you can do is provide concise feedback showing what needs fixed.
For the most part I have been very happy with the updated characters as most of mine have not changed for the worst at all.
My main has remained the same since he was created, and both of his 9-year-old fantasias continue gathering dust in the bank along with a recently acquired new one.
One alt had to have their eyes lightened two shades but nothing game breaking.
My Au Ra with face 3 did get the shaft. Who in their right mind thought it was ok to narrow all 4 jaw selections to the extent that the face scales float freely off the face and you can see daylight between face and scale? Was Quality Control asleep the day that change went through?
So, the free fantasia got used and now he is face 1. In my head though, he is still the same character, and I will grow to love the change (but revert him right back to 3 if they ever manage to fix their blunder).
Turning the gamma down to 0 did help with how my characters look. At 50 things were just too bright and washed out (looking at you ashy black hair and blinding white hair)
I do sympathize with all the people who were not as lucky, you have the right to feel angry. Your characters got changed in a way you weren't anticipating. Like the Au Ra face 3 jaw, some of the redo's didn't really need to be done. Lips didn't need to be resculpted or eyes. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in future patches.

I wish forum posts like these would stop getting replied to. They are toxic and not benefiting the fanbase.

I like my catman having some form of texturing on his supposed to be furry face, so I would have to say no.
I'd say nice bait, but it's not even nice.

KEEP DT MODELS BACK KEEP NOW KEEP TEXTURES BETTER NOW KEEP

I think they've made a lot of changes that have seriously altered the mood of the face – downturned mouth, pointier chin, changes around the eyes and a generally harsher impression – but the gap under the "sideburns" isn't new. They've always floated off the face, only anchored at the top edge. I assume it lets the jaw move without stretching the scale-plates.My Au Ra with face 3 did get the shaft. Who in their right mind thought it was ok to narrow all 4 jaw selections to the extent that the face scales float freely off the face and you can see daylight between face and scale? Was Quality Control asleep the day that change went through?
You can see it on my character here:
