ive always had growing up anyway. nothing was dubbed in dutch(and thank fuck for that) so it really doesnt bother me.
i just prefer watching shit in its original language, specially cause they seem to care more about getting actual good actors

I learned to appreciate not having to read every bit tho and switched to dubs since. Maybe the english VA doesn't bother me as much since I am german myself and I like it better than the german Voice Acting.

everone dogpiling on wukkie is abit sad tho even tho she was really bad. i felt like the entire english dub was really bad overall this expansion. her being the main character doesnt help. the writing being less than normal doesnt help either. galool ja ja's voice was the absolute worst imo which is so sad cause he sounds really cool in japanese

Galool Ja Ja and Zoraal Ja are STELLAR in the Japanese dialogue track. Galool Ja Ja's voice actors especially. The scenes leading up to the level 95 dungeon hit HARD because the performance just flips 180 without feeling like tonal whiplash. I think the voice work is absolutely elevating the script.

its weird. i've never really heard from english talking people the engish va is good. mostly negativ things.
and then we have the german community with so many people being obsessed with english.
they say the german va is garbage (some of it is but there are also some pretty good ones and many okay ones) and no matter what the english one is so much better. and everytime there is a difference they always go 'what? in english its like this. thats different... cringe.... bad'. often to see in twitch chats.

and im like: 'if you want good va then change it to japanese'... but no they would have to read even in the voiced cutscenes how terrible... and also compare the translation to japanese not that sometimes inaccurat english localization

Oh i feel you, its the same for me.
The german voice acting isnt bad i would say but it often does feel restrained with a few exception.
Especialy german Wuk Lamat is really good in some scenes

Meanwhile Daisuke Ono as Zoraal Ja absolutely killed. I was very pleased with the JP voice acting this time around.

Absolutely, best performance in this expansion for me. I switched partway through, and he immediately stood out, like "Hey I can take one of them seriously now! Cool!" A real case of making something good out of the overall poor writing, and as far as I'm concerned they're more than welcome to give him a future main character role (far away from all this).
