Cause Dev take into consideration what popular streamer say about the game. While it far from being the only factor the take into consideration, it has bigger weight in decision making than like everyone united in this thread. That just how things work.

So people with bias.... yeah i would give them 0 credibility.
Everything and i mean EVERYTHING has + and -
if its only ++++ and no - then the person is biased or a blind fan.
And no mater how you look at it this expansion is extremely weak and has serious Spacing issues in the story.
Limited and Exclusive content that gets removed from game is Wasted Content and Developer time in the long run.
Change my Mind. (You can't)
That's very sad.
You're trying to equate a game content creator to important public figures in society when most people simply will not see them that way.
There are more important things in people's lives than watching someone stream a game.
Obviously she's talking about it in relation to the game. This really isn't hard to understand. Content creators have louder voices than the majority of players, and the devs have shown that they actively listen to them more. This is why people care about content creators' opinions.
Of course you don't have to care, it's just a game after all, but people asking "Why should I as a player care about someone with more tangible influence on the game's development voicing their opinions?" is just... Well it should be obvious.
Why should they have more influence on the games development though? Why aren't they treated as a single voice like the rest of us? It's very sad to me.Obviously she's talking about it in relation to the game. This really isn't hard to understand. Because they have more influence on the game's playerbase. They speak for the portion of the playerbase that agrees with them, not just themselves. Plus in order to become a content creator you have to immerse yourself in the game, its story, its gameplay, and its systems. When playing the game becomes your job, you're going to be more outspoken, more influential, and usually more detailed and specific with your criticism.

I can certainly understand it now. It's still quite upsetting to me. Makes it seem like my voice doesn't matter or the voices of others that don't follow the creators, or even the creators fans that have a differing opinion.Because they have more influence on the game's playerbase. I'm reminded why I stay away from the forums.

At the end of the day this is a business and SE wants more money. Content creators bring or repel money to a product so a company will use and listen to them. It’s why they do a Media Tour a few weeks before expansion releases and invite content creators there to experience and then spread their info and opinion of the slice of game they got to play. But that is the simple explanation and the rule of business, it’s sad but true.
Maybe an unpopular opinion I think they should hire the writers behind FFXVI. Though it still ends with the power of friendship like most FF do, it at least had mature levels of writing for majority of the game. Dawntrail is at the 4kids anime levels of writing at its current stage.
