FFXIV Dawntrail reviews are out on Metacritic

I don't think they actually hate XIV as much as they say they do because otherwise they wouldn't be here.

As always, people who criticize are the people who still care. The problem are the people who get so apathetic that they quietly leave and never come back. They do not give feedback, so you cannot fix anything. And if you did, they wouldn't return. So all disagreements aside, almost everyone here comes from a place of caring, not hate. There is the occasional ultra troll of course...

Citizen, the user score is now down to 6.6 which I'd say is an accurate score for a story of this caliber.

Is the first time i don't like the music from FFXIV. I'm sorry Soken but none of the tracks sounds like it fits Latino America.
Is not bad per se, but damn if it doesn't fit and is average as hell.

The only song that I really like is the Final Trail's, it's the only song that made me go "Goddamn, this song is such a banger" because it really sounds like a JRPG final boss theme fighting off against an otherworld AI abomination

I also liked the song they used in Galool Ja's fight, but I definitely like the final trail's song a lot more

Metacritic deleted a mixed critic review to replace it with a different one to bump the critic score to 79. Sus as hell. The user score is back up to 7.1 because they deleted a bunch of user reviews, including mine which seems asinine. I reposted it so w/e.

I just saw that... Mine was deleted too, and it wasn't a one sentence review referring SBI or something like that. I actually took my time to write my complaints about the story and give good reasoning for my score which was a 4. They just deleted it.
I guess according to them you aren't allowed to have any complaints at all.

They deleted my review too... I wrote a whole thing, but I guess because I gave it 3/10 (a score I WILL defend) that's not acceptable? What a joke.

EDIT: Steam score has dropped to 62%. At least that one cannot be manipulated like this.

From the numbers alone they must have deleted a good 100 reviews, at the minimum.

And then people are wondering why you can't trust Metacritic. What a joke...
