I keep procrastinating starting another Elden Ring run to get to the DLC...so lazy

Anyways, the internet has a habit of making people seem more extreme than they actually are in real life. I'm not nearly as snarky for example Isala and you might actually get long in real life. Maybe.

Chances are we probably would since we share a common interest in this game, and I hardly know any people IRL that play 14. I don't think they actually hate XIV as much as they say they do because otherwise they wouldn't be here. It can be hard engaging with people constructively on this forum because it is meant to be a place where active players share opinions but when you encounter those who reject everything about the game and the devs as a unilateral "bad" it's like talking to a brick wall. "The devs will always let us down, jobs are all dead, the game hasn't been good since HW" etc. These types of hardline stances tend to draw reactions from people like myself who have things they criticize about the game but aren't willing to reject it entirely, so of course I end up defending the game as someone who still overall enjoys the game. I will try not to jump into these rhetorical black holes going forward. Thank you for the outside perspective to snap me back to reality.

As always, people who criticize are the people who still care. The problem are the people who get so apathetic that they quietly leave and never come back. They do not give feedback, so you cannot fix anything. And if you did, they wouldn't return. So all disagreements aside, almost everyone here comes from a place of caring, not hate. There is the occasional ultra troll of course...
