FFXIV Dawntrail reviews are out on Metacritic

You can do the same with the 10 scores, and I can find plenty of 0 reviews that are well written, as I've said before, these average out.
You are just mad some people dont agree with you.

Nice strawman. Nice assumptions. If you read the thread you would see that I said I agree there are 10 scores that are not actual reviews. And if you read the reviews in the picture I linked you would see why I chose them

I'm not sure you know what a strawman is, as I did not use one.
I did use an assumption, but it is an educated one, there are models that help predict user bias in these kind of polls, statistically they will average out with a small bias to one side, cant know which but it will likely be insignificant, less than 5%.
Unfortunately I cant find a way to get all scores from metacritic or I would run a script that would actually check it out :shrug:

remember people, if someone else is leaving a review based on their feeling and enjoyment it is neither a positive or negative review bomb, they just score on a different scale that you would, but you are free to leave your own review and show them how its done.

you can not like someone else's review and it still be a valid review, even if they dont like an aspect you find appealing. their review might speak to people of a other mind just as your may also, only speak what you believe to be true and and allow others to give voice to their truth.

and no people disagreeing with you are not bots, but yes company's are know for paying bot firms to review their games/movies/shows, rotten tomato critics are generally 20$ to 50$ per "glowing" critic review for instance.

please stop lmao, people will say "use steam reviews" and you'll find another excuse

then "look at the forums" and you'll find another excuse on why the forums are too negative

then "see what people are saying on gamefaqs" and you'll say gamefaqs is too boomer

Personally i don't think review bombing exists unless a singular person is contributing more than 1 review, You may not agree or like a 0/10 or a 10/10, and as dumb as those people are not to take a better assessment of what they're reviewing, they're just as entitled to their review as anyone else.

If you actually take an honest look at the 0 score reviews you would see that yes, a lot are just "woke is bad lol" but most are actually well written with solid reasoning.

In contrast, if you take an honest look at the 10 scores, you will see a lot of "This deserves a 6 but I'm gonna write 10 because I love xiv for-ever!" but most are actually well written with solid reasoning.

As in everything that is opinion based, both sides have assholes, and both sides have a legit personal opinion, trying to stick to one-side and say they are faking it is cruel and dismissive of others experience.

Endwalker and Shadowbringers scored higher? To me those were the worst two expansions this game has ever had. I'm almost finished with Dawntrail and I'm loving it, but then again I took the time to actually read it and enjoy it.
