Sweet Christmas could y'all hide the spoilers?
Sweet Christmas could y'all hide the spoilers?
Yeah, the specific spoilers are way too much, either generalise it into a comment on principles or use spoiler tags, not hard guys. If you want to discuss spoilers openly without tags there are other threads.
PS: Edit your threads.
Or maybe don't join a thread discussing story until you've finished the story ?
Um.. yes.. I kind of agree that this is not tagged as a spoiler thread, but on the other hand, if you are reading 109 pages deep into an in depth exchange of arguments backing up one position or the other in a discussion on the quality of the storyline and characters in it, I also kind of feel it is implied that this far in people will be speaking more openly, since the story is what provides the arguments?
You are not technically in the wrong, but.. I also do agree with Malthir?
You know ... for things to work most of the time it gotta be a mutual effort. It's like on the street, for you to be safe, it takes others to drive safe as well as you being a responsible driver as well. If you're reading a non-story thread and suddenly got slapped with a major spoiler out of nowhere, than yeah you can complain. But stepping into a 100+ page discussion about the story and complain about spoiler is a bit ... Just saying, you too have your own responsibility to ensure you don't get spoil yourself, it's not just the jobs of others.
Like, don't get me wrong, I do tag all of my spoiler in this thread and I think other should do the same. But at the same time I think anyone who come into this thread and get spoil themselves spoil ... they're 99% deserved it and should have known better.
Yeah, how dare I be curious on the critical discussion of wuk lamats role in the story and if it gets any better later on since I'm kinda tapped out from how poor the story has been thus far.You know ... for things to work most of the time it gotta be a mutual effort. I've stopped caring at this point anyway so I'm not too sad but it's still poor etiquette to post huge spoilers within the release window.
Also your metaphor sounds kinda horrific, like 99% of people who walk outside shouldn't expect to be attacked/harassed because "They deserve it"
More like "Hey. You see that bad part of town? Bad things happen to people who go there. Maybe you should not." And then you walk in anyway, and go "WHY DID A BAD THING HAPPEN TO ME?!"Yeah, how dare I be curious on the critical discussion of wuk lamats role in the story and if it gets any better later on since I'm kinda tapped out from how poor the story has been thus far.

You should try to miss my point harder, although that may be impossible.
See how my post had 2 parts in it?
So yeah, if you just walking down a normal street and got mugged, you certain can complain. If you're reading a non-story thread and suddenly got slapped with a major spoiler out of nowhere, than yeah you can complain.
But if you walk into the shady part of town that's ridden with gang and drug issues and got mugged? All I gonna say is what do you expect? But stepping into a 100+ page discussion about the story and complain about spoiler is a bit
This is why I dislike the whole modern victim complex thing. It's like people think their safety is the responsible of everyone else but themselves.![]()

The irony of people who won't use spoiler tags in a non-spoiler headed thread which had previously been spoiler free then coming and talking about personal responsibility. Holy self awareness Batman. You know ... for things to work most of the time it gotta be a mutual effort.
