I personally don't see an issue with it. Its not like extreme or savage or ultimate where it is possible to run into enrage timer and wipe.

Sure, but when people are trying to do things in a reasonable time Tanks don't realize that it's a waste of time to Solo a fight unless it's 10% or so. Even then, Tanks soloing fights shouldn't be a thing in general - it actually exacerbates the issues we've seen in Endwalker - and I'm not even talking about the Healer Strike at all, just Tanks in general feel like they're braindead now.

You say its not about the healer strike, but its evident in your original post for this thread it is actually about the healer strike and specifically about Warrior. As that movement has its roots in how they strongly detest that Warrior can sustain itself without a healer's help. Which does display a clear bias on why your post is anti-solo.Sure, but when people are trying to do things in a reasonable time Tanks don't realize that it's a waste of time to Solo a fight unless it's 10% or so. Also considering the healer strike sentiments, people would still complain because if the boss was at 10% and the tank was soloing. As like you had told me, they shouldn't be able to.
If the tank wants to solo, they can be my guest. As while they do that, I can stand up, stretch, take a break, get some water. If they fail? Oh well, another attempt to make sure I don't go down and learn to do better in the future.
Tank being immortal is nothing new. I remember back in Sb, I was facing a boss and it took me a good 5 min to realise that our RDM died b4 using rez on the healer, and I was soloing the boss as DRK for a good 5 + min.Sure, but when people are trying to do things in a reasonable time Tanks don't realize that it's a waste of time to Solo a fight unless it's 10% or so. Happened to me once at Dead Ends at 20%. I did ask if I could finish and they said yes. I felt bad because I thought 20 would go fast (It did not.).

Maybe the group shouldn't waste the tanks time by dieing either. Unless this is an ex mode, I rarely see a reason to floor tank.
Agreed
Also, design tip: Tanks shouldn't be able to do this at all, it's part of the issue with healers in easier content.
