In my case was it, because he feeled nice at the second half of shb.
The greased lightning was a pain. Slow at start and a very short timer. The positional feels allways weird, because you simply dont Match up the timing, where you stand to, what skill you have to press. Like, becaue the Boss moved around or Aoe forced you to move to a certain place.
But, what was nice, was his speed after the lose of GL. And, his rotation had a easy flow, where you didnt needed to think much. It was perfect for shutting down your brain after the work and simply punch, what moves around you.
The EW monk was a little worse to that mentality (needed to think a bit more, and once free skills was now hidden behinde a gauge). But, in overall was the monk even ok. Only his lack of distance attacks was allways a pain (i later switched back to Blm, because distance fights was more compatiple to me, and than later to Drg, because its the meele, i can played the best, and who was similary to drg).
I only tested DT monk at a puppet. But the first impression was, that he feeled ok. Maybe, even better as before (im not sure, if i like it more to press proc based skill, or have a fix rotation for all skills).
