1.23 will be introduced in mid July... and will feature a Garlean Empire Legatus battle....

A Legatus is the highest military rank of the Roman army... answering only to Dux (Dukes) or higher

Legatus Gauis van Baelsar, the Black Wolf

Legatus of the XIVth legion, currently occupying Ala Mhigo, uses a gunblade. Hates Eorzea and wants to invade and destroy it ASAP

Legatus Nael van Darnus, The White Raven

Legatus of the VIIth Legion, uses a gunhalberd. Darnus's intentions seems little more nefarious... He wants to use Allagan tech to bring Dalamund down on Eorzea. He has some unknown (but definitely evil) plan to use, harness, absorb, unleash whatever aetheric phenomenon that is present in the void created by the moon meteor destroying the region.

The 2 disagree because the Black wolf wants to just take over Eorzea, while the white raven wants to go all Sephiroth and soak up the energy at the heart of the "wound" left by meteor...
Well thats what we are led to assume by his words... who knows if that will hold true...

However..... (and the ultimate point of this thread)

Which Legatus do you think we will fight in 1.23?

A) The Black Wolf?

B) The White Raven?

C) Both?

D) A Legatus we have yet to meet?

Single-monster encounters are more the exception than the rule in XIV, so I suspect we'll see two bosses.

i'd say B, if this game keeps with the cliches, the black wolf will realize what hes doing and turn good and will help you stop white raven

Not in one party, in a dungeon all subbosses, possibly in the crystal tower with Gunblade, Gun Knuckles, Gunaxe, Gun Septer, Gun Staff, Gun anything else.
