It seems everyone has the AMD Phenom CPU, but who knows. Am curious if it is in any way related to the Xbox/PS5 problems... They both have AMD cores...

Yes, mostly Phenom but also a Rysen 9, and if the Xbox and PS5 hardware is also at fault, there is definitely something wrong with AMD processors since 7.0 patch that never was an issue before.

Definitely happening to more people than we'd like. It's every major city, same problem.

Test runs below - This was seriously time consuming since it meant logging in on another computer to move the character, logging out, logging in on this machine and crashing (or not) and repeating.

Character used for these tests is Kiiari who has finished Endwalker but not started (due to the bug) Dawntrail.

So far the locations I can confirm give the error:

I will add I tested a few zones and dungeons. Mostly I wanted to see if it had to do with water, or a skybox.

It seems to only be an issue when X number of players are around. Perhaps related to culling models or the new "show only NPCs nearby if lots of PCs are around"?
