It's plenty consistent lol. You're just not happy somebody doesn't think exactly like all of you do. Most of you haven't done any hard content (I checked your achievements on lodestone) yet go off on healing like it's soooo easy.

This is the whole problem, I’ve had people log stalk me and call me a casual who needs to do hard content to understand healers, then when I linked my real logs they said I was obviously too good at the game to have an opinion. At no time did they actually engage with the substance of my arguments

So I say again, pick a damn lane, call me a casual, call me a toxic raider I don’t care just engage with the substance of my arguments or quit randomly deciding that an entire group fits your narrow views so you can ignore them

You're not wrong. While people do say they like to try new things, it's been proven that the majority will still jump on something that has familiar elements more quickly than something that is vastly different. The hard part is finding a balance between expanding on a familiar concept and adding enough to distinguish it apart.

Without Yoshi P at the helm, FF14 would be in trouble because SE has many issues that have lead it into near financial ruin multiple times. We're just in a position where we have a team of devs that do care and while they may not immediately please everyone. they don't deserve the same treatment as many others in the industry who clearly don't care about their player base.

Any one person who believes they can do a better job should take a moment to realize that if they became a dev they would immediately incite the wrath of people just like them for things they themselves may of not been a part of. But this mob mentality doesn't care about that and it doesn't discriminate between who's at fault and who isn't. It's just become, if you're a dev we're entitled to treat you horribly.

There are many nuances to it which is why anyone who wants a positive outcome should be leading by example. Not dehumanizing them simply to justify their own toxic and entitled attitude. We're better than that.

You are totally missing the point, we aren’t saying “we are better than the stupid devs listen to us” we are saying “we have given you mounds of feedback as to our belief in why the healers aren’t engaging enough and have some evidence via lucky’s censuses that the healer role is haemorrhaging players can you please explain your design decisions more clearly and explain why you won’t acknowledge our feedback rather than making dismissive comments like “go play ultimate””
