Oh, so it's not just me.

My Hrothgal character doesn't have access to a lot of glam because she only just arrived in Heavensward, so I can't judge about most things. I noticed the Virtu Ravager's Cuirass is extra bulky but it doesn't look super bad because it still fits the wild unsymmetric look of the gear (and Warrior as a job) and my WHM and RPR gear was fine, but it was also shoulderless. However, when I used "Try On" on the new Mad Max style crafteable gear on the marketboard, they really felt kind of off. Due to the position of their arms in idle pose and how that gear is designed to look rather tight, she looked like all the versions with jackets would be way too tight. That level of tight where you still fit into a thing but can't really move around as intended because it's so tight you are afraid to rip anything, and it's just really uncomfortable. They look fine on my male Hrothgar though (although the gear for the guys is ofc always a bit different than the one from the ladies). The only one that looked a bit less like this was the aiming gear, but well, she doesn't have an aiming job. xD

I was really disappointed about that one because this rowdy like style would suit her personality and her wild coeurl face look incredibly well. And it makes me anxious for basically every other gear with arms.

Just popping in to give my support and this is my only gripe with femhroths. Almost anything with sleeves looks ridiculously disproportionate and the emotes where she raises her arms look kinda strange too, like the upper arm needs to be slightly skinnier or closer to the upper body because there is this weird angle. Maybe someone else can articulate what I'm trying to say better and I would post a screenshot if I wasn't on ps5.

For those saying it's fine, I have a piece of asymmetrical armor and you can *see* how borked the rigging is:

For how long female hrothgal was supposedly in development they should not launch in this state interms of rigging for their clothes. They currently suffering the same issue of faces having locked hairstyles behind them just like when male Hrothgar launch in shadowbringer. Million dollar question they mange to fix that in Endwalker even through we had to wait for every main patch for them to get current hairstyle in game so why not applied to female hrothgal during their development. Unless their development started at very end instead of it being from the beginning which would explain why we did not really see them in actual gameplay to the lead up of Dawntrail.

Yeah, it's really disappointing because I think the sleeveless models do look great! It'd be nice if their armor matched that look and didn't make them look ballooned!

The response of "just go sleeveless" isn't helpful either

    So it's just not me!
I really thought I was going crazy with how the shoulders felt so big on certain armor.

    Hopefully they'll fix it.

Just chiming in to say I noticed on some glams it also makes the shoulders wider than they actually are as well.

I would wager that it's the latter; they were late in development. SE should really hire more people to look into issues like these.

It looks a bit saggy, but it doesn't really irritate me, but I understand where you're coming from.

Okay so, take a look at this, for those people who think it's just fine -

Here's a nice sleeved top with no gloves:

Here's a broken lazy Squeenix glove that they didn't rig correctly:

So not only is the model fatter, it's also shorter

Fix this Square! We can tell you just ported over some models and don't care, but we notice!!
