    Yeah it's because the delay was after landing the actual movement of the animation was shorter. The effects are also bad, look at monks effects you can see how much faster it seems. The animations are just dull and uninteresting, even the shield charge on paladin has more impact. They could of just kept the old animations and removed potency. Bards repelling shot still shoots an arrow even if it doesn't do damage.

    See the shield charge of Paladin or the Warrior charging forward, big axe ready to swing, make sense - they add flavor to this class. Rough Divide and Plunge did that for Gunbreaker and Dark Knight too. These new animations just sluggish, boring, bland, and overall just bad. Like someone else said, they just look like place holders for something else.
