Seriously, you are calling this a graphic update?

Hair looks so terrible it's as stiff as a board and doesn't move at all. The new graphics look way worse than they did before. They need to fix the hair not movement right away.

The phrasing of the patch notes makes it sound like they intend to change hair rigging from the 7.0 hairstyles backwards, but it feels like they completely removed the preexisting rigging in the meantime, which just confuses me. Why knowingly release something as half baked as this when there's no financial gain?

As part of our first graphical update, the following details have been improved:
Subtle hair movements.

* With few exceptions, these updates apply to all content implemented in Patch 7.0.
* Graphical updates will be applied gradually to older content in future updates.

The tiny and thin text in this update for things like location names, npc, the chat window and other has caused me intense eye strain. Its not an update its a downgrade, the text looks horrid and why is it suddenly so small!?

Sorry for the aggressive title, but I really can't accept it.

This is my wol before and after the update.
Do these two really look like the same characters? Or do they seem to be better after the update? The eyes, nose and mouth are all different, so I just can't accept the current graphic as my wol. Just give me my wol back Please.

The mouth is the only thing that looks different to me.
Like I get it, you liked your character and it's not nice to see it change but this is such a little difference in my eyes.

As someone who liked the first benchmark better and had it changed because of the feedback (I'm not belittleing the feedback here) just... accept it at this point.
Everyone knew change was coming.

If they keep listening to this feedback the whole update can be rolled back because there will always be someone who is unhappy.

I respect your opinion and that of all who are unhappy. I'm also unhappy with the new BLM but there has to be a point were we all have to accept some stuff.

Is everything perfect? No.
Can some things be improved? Yes.
But there has to be a line somewhere where people need to accept changes and make the best of it.
It's just a video game.

u asking me accept them so thatu dont have to go without them, not because i im okay with them. my character isnt some small deal to me, and these changes are ruining all of my plates, and my love of my character which is at its core. the main thing that keeps me here. i shouldnt need to accept this because 3 days ago, this wasnt how it was. so yes. i want this deleted and put back on the burner. it hasnt worked. its universally hated. and now -people are fighting just to stop it getting worse. also the blm changes are gone when u change job, mine are gone if a chnage race, thats no small ask for somebody who is invested in there charatcer

Of course, when you recycle content and/or dumb down everything it's bound to make people progressively more bitter over each xpac. The big offender being the terrible gameplay, so if the other things they have worked on turns out bad too, it'll only make it worse.

Also things like "universally hated" is not true in an objective sense. It also won't get worse, because they already moved back in some aspects.

I get being attached to your character, really and you have my symphaties for not being happy but the old stuff won't come back. That would be stupid PR on SE part and make a huge chunk of the playerbase unhappy (me included).

I said my two cents here and won't reply anymore because one thing I learned in all my years is that this discussion won't go anywere because we both have our opinion we don't accept to change it.
All I'm saying is that there has to be a compromise at some point.
