Une petite précision concernant la date de sortie de la mise à jour 1.22. Pour le moment aucune date n'est définitive tant qu'aucune annonce officielle ne sera faite (via Lodestone et les forums). Il est toujours prévu que la mise à jour 1.22 soit disponible vers la fin du mois d'avril, comme annoncé précédemment, mais la date du 27 avril n'est qu'une approximation.

The link in the first quote shows a "Rep Hallwadur" stating 1.22 is coming 4/27.

That seems to have prompted the second quote saying, in short, "maybe but not officially."

Did a GM let the cat out of the bag or is SE thinking a delay to after Golden Week?

I know it might be just a PR move, but it seems strange they'd bother to respond if things were going as planned and the update only was a week away.

It may also be just a case of C.Y.A.

While internal memos may say, " patch on 4/27" they may not want to let that out to the public over a week before just on the off chance that something COULD cause a delay and thus might not want to officially announce it until they are closer to the release date.


Basically someone let the cat out of the bag, and they're trying to cram it back in so they aren't caught with their pants down IF something goes wrong.

i still think the Garuda contest indicates they were on track for a week of the 23rd release at the time of the 13th.
If that's the case, then any delays enough to change that should be a 1.22/1.22a issue ... i hope.

That was my thought. The last letter made it seem like 1.22 was definitely coming out prior to Golden Week since several things had the 1.22a annotation.

And your correct, the Garuda contest corroborates that.
