The link in the first quote shows a "Rep Hallwadur" stating 1.22 is coming 4/27.

That seems to have prompted the second quote saying, in short, "maybe but not officially."

Did a GM let the cat out of the bag or is SE thinking a delay to after Golden Week?

I know it might be just a PR move, but it seems strange they'd bother to respond if things were going as planned and the update only was a week away.

A little precision (clarification?) on the release date of update 1.22. For the moment no date is final as no official announcement has been made (via the forums or Lodestone). It is still anticipated that the update 1.22 will be available by the end of April but the 27th is only an approximation.

Nothing new... Yoshi P already said that end of april was an ideal approximate considering some JP holiday...

Would explain why we haven't seen the poll data yet.

Poll data is waiting on Yoshi-P's next letter, seems his next letter is waiting on a solid date for 1.22 still.
