    Well. This is actually common in Final Fantasy. One thing this saga has is that a considerable number of FF mixes medieval or antique stuff with moderns or futuristic stuff. This is not new. For example, Final Fantasy IV has a tower with super advanced technology inside, and a literal spaceship, and the whole world is medieval.

    It's always weird to me when people act like Final Fantasy is just a regular medieval/fantasy setting.
