Just another thread crying for Old pvp gear and mounts

Make new pvp rewards to earn, prestige is a thing. You don't get a gold medal for participation. With this mentality you might as well hand all the rewards in the game to everyone. Necromancer title, all the ultimate weapons, all the savage mounts. Having something that is hard to get and had to be earned / has to be earned is the crux of an MMO, making your character unique, having people asking where you got something etc etc. The solution? Make more hard to get items, glam, mounts, gear, housing items, titles etc for people to earn and grind towards or bring them back, but make them a top 100 thing again. Don't beg for the easy way out, have some class.

You realize all those pve things are still available right? And have gotten easier because of job changes over the years.

Pvp bros really hate anyone having similar things they do.

Maybe they should start locking cool pvp stuff behind pv3, since they did the reverse. You know, for fairness.

True many of those things are still available. Guess why barely anyone has Necromancer for example? Cause only a few are willing to put in the work for it. The circumstances of getting them have not changed unlike PvP.

I started shortly before HW Released. Guess i should start spamming Threads for the 1.0 Tattoo cause "i never had a chance to get it". It is only fair right?

There's more necromancers than top 100 PvPers. Why? Nwcro isn't limited to a number of players.

I do care about the items. I fought very hard for them. Learned to play SCH just so i could get faster queues but it took a while till i actually got somewhere and boy did i get ROASTED in the beginning. I REALLY wanted this Set so i put in the work for it.
It took so much out of me that i paused the Game for 2 Weeks after i had a safe space at Top 100.
When i got the GM-Mail (They wrote them one by one back then with a copy paste message with 3 different languages), i instantly glamed every single Set i had to this and have most of my Sets glamed with my Top 100 Rewards to this Day.

That is how much i like them.

If they started locking relevant PvP stuff behind PvE I might actually start playing PvE again.

Tbh I just want them to do something to make Ranked worthwhile over Casual CC, after several t100 on my Light character I just have all these currencies pooling up and nothing really to use them for. All I have to show for those are name on old leaderboards and same plates with different numbers.

Make Hunt currency stuff purchaseable with Wolf Marks, make some other side content stuff avaiable through Trophy Crystals maybe MGP stuff? Or at least allow long Mahjong games to give all the people a good chunk of it to revitalize it. Even unique dye or few for Trophy Crystals could help.

Give base participation tomes, exp etc. 2 or 3x multiplier compared to Casual.

Make recolors of old Series rewards (armor, minion, mount) for different ranks ranging from gold to t100 (ie. gold/plat for one, dia/crystal second, t100 third).

Hellhound weapon style new set that can be augmented piece by piece to make it shinier, end up with cool aura or something for full augment. Uses Commendation Crystals.

They could even make PvP Relic as alternate path for PvE gearing that requires participation in all the modes.

There's just tons of options for them to take or tweak, just give us something to aim for.

Even if it's just another title for multi crystal or t100, it would be something.

There's nothing for ranked because the ranked rewards were 1 time only and no longer exist. And they realized said rewards didn't push more people into ranked, so there was no reason financially to add more.
