I don't think what you're trying to argue is actually a positive haha. I'll take english topics that are trying to push the devs to create a product where one doesn't fall asleep to "where are youtube influencers?" or "let's gather at some purple hair convention."Mostly NA because ego and someone else having a slightly higher number.
Anyway, most complaining seems to be in the English forums. Here are some of the newest German threads:
"Shadow is coming! New European Datacenter"
"No German-speaking Youtubers?"
Unlocking a second submergible or airship."
Self-Explanatory
Mostly game-related.

JP players use the role forums to offer feedback on jobs and the combat ones for feedback on combat. The DPS one, at least, has been on fire for a week on their side.Nope, tbh most of the complaining seems to come from the EU/NA forums, these are the latest threads from JP General:
FF11コラボで実装してほしい装備 - Equipment I would like to see implemented in the FF11 collaboration - Last response 05-30-2024, 01:27 PM
『レッドオニオンヘルム』のロール制限撤廃もしくはおしゃれ装備版の実装をお願いします!! - Please remove the role restrictions for "Red Onion Helm" or implement a stylish equipment version! ! - Last Response 05-29-2024, 09:37 AM

Sooo yeh, nothing on combat or gender locked clothes.
Players said they're using 6.0 Summoner as a foundation to build a full-fledged job to release during 7.0.
Not the devs of course, but the entire discourse environment surrounding FF14 has been goalpost shifting after goalpost shifting.

If I could read JP I would check their healer role feedback and combat. I am curious if they face the same monotone problems as us.

From what I've seen over the years they seem to be a LOT more tolerant of the absolute dogwater gameplay as long as their duty finder conveyor belt keeps running.

Well when they completely destroyed Drk back in Shb, they said it was because they were stripping it back to strong foundations they could build on, then EW came out and all they did was take away more than they added, now DT is coming out and they are functionally doing the same again. 6 years and still not seeing any "building on these "foundations", so I would take anything they say with an oceans worth of salt.
I know, i was being sarcastic. The question was rhetorical.Well when they completely destroyed Drk back in Shb, they said it was because they were stripping it back to strong foundations they could build on, then EW came out and all they did was take away more than they added, now DT is coming out and they are functionally doing the same again. 6 years and still not seeing any "building on these "foundations", so I would take anything they say with an oceans worth of salt.
It's the same carrot on the stick.
Yeah, considering they doubled and trippled down on the ShB/EW design this whole "We're thinking about job identities for 8.0" looks more like "Don't quit the game now, we're definitely going to fix the gameplay next expansion...promise."
It's basically some PR nonsense since they might not be completely certain about the game doing well post-Zodiark/Hydaelyn story. And once they see Dawntrail doing good numbers they will quickly forget about the job/combat design again.

Cant wait for the devs to say 'sorry we cant look at job identities for 8.0, we'll get around to that in 9.0, big promise'.Yeah, considering they doubled and trippled down on the ShB/EW design this whole "We're thinking about job identities for 8.0" looks more like "Don't quit the game now, we're definitely going to fix the gameplay next expansion...promise."
