can we give tanks more aoe heal so we don't need healers anymore?
can we give tanks more aoe heal so we don't need healers anymore?
This is why the whole “it reduces stress so it’s good” argument falls apart
PLD could get a level 110 skill that was AOE limitless hallowed ground and it would “reduce stress” at the end of the day there is some measure of stress that comes with playing a game
If you want a stress less experience that’s what animal crossing is for
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Healers are already non-optimal for almost all dungeon content outside of the few boses that can rack up raidwide damage that outpaces NF/Intervention.
I also have a strong hunch that with the Shadow Wall Excog, Rampart Heal Buff and a longer Reprisal that even DRK and 3 dps will be possible and faster than a healer in the comp
If the damage output isnt increased it could be possible we will see the new Ultimate raids both having no Healer runs like TOP.Healers are already non-optimal for almost all dungeon content outside of the few boses that can rack up raidwide damage that outpaces NF/Intervention.

I kinda hope that happens because then the "if you want a challenge play ultimate" quote will become even funnier.
