THIS! It's just frustrating considering the WAR gear shows midriff but for some reason, they had to go through the effort to make a separate version for male pictomancers. I also personally think the black undershirt darkens the whole design a bit too much, the crop top broke it up well but now it's significantly more bland. With the focus they've had on reducing gender-locked gear, it really is disappointing to see that they're making such minor and easily avoidable differences between the male and female models (not even mentioning the dnc gear which is just... wow). I wish they'd at least have the option to use either one, especially considering that some with female wols would prefer the undershirt as well!

I do understand that, but also simply having little to no differences would also be less time-consuming for them xD There are only differences in certain sets, which is why people are unhappy, because it just isn't needed and seems very targeted. It goes against what they've said in the past regarding gender-locked gear.

honestly the male picto top looks like they slapped something together last second. it's ridiculous that they're still doing this esp when there is even ARR gear that does crop tops on male characters.

fem reaper getting the fun holes in the pants while male reaper is again stuck with another boring set of bottoms that i'll never be able to differentiate.

they were even gendering raid gear post EW, swapped off fem miqo bc i was tired of trying on outfits to have it suddenly completely change the bottoms

I'd argue it's less work/time to fit one gearset to both gender models than it is to make an entire second gearset. IMO either they should stick to a single design for both models or, if they're going to make different designs, make them available to both models.

Alternatively they could just release a single model that is shared by both genders, spare some resources since only one set to design instead of 2, and nobody would bat an eye. And it would save them threads like those.
