Of course they do, just look at this thread - it’s all ‘cheating’ to the detractors who make these. It’s very obvious they don’t interact a ton with actual mod users…of course, who would admit this to wannabe cops.

I didn't use any personal attacks on players. If you want to be more accurate I was being rude to people who cheat and laughing at others who say cheating is ok.So you are telling me you are making these claims without a single shred of evidence? It is all just assumptions and conjecture? That is such a surprise, I am at a loss for words. You seemed so certain, and it even corroborated your claims, accusations and personal attacks on your fellow players so well.
It seems you must have skipped the part of being a kid where you learn logical thought processes and critical thinking skills. If someone is willing to cheat in the game why would they care when it comes to downloading (or making) a mod that simply changes their gear id of whatever it is they want to change? Talk about you arguing in bad faith, you are arguing in -redacted- faith.
You still haven't answered the question from my last post though sooo
How would them suing a company in the US make it so they would get sued in another country over privacy? This makes no sense. Also as an aside it is funny to think that any other county has as strong of a legal protection as the 4th amendment in the USA but current year schooling leaves a lot to be desired.I don’t use them but I really don’t care unless it’s pvp or a world first (for the latter at least have the decency of being honest). Otherwise, it has zero effect on me.
When it cone to cosmetic mods in particular why would anyone care if someone wants to alter the look of their character and what they see on their own screen? It’s inconsequential.
different countries, different legislation. Someone might get pissed and institute a privacy based lawsuit too.
Yeah... seems like someone hasn't been in limsa and seen the bot spam or been in PF and seen how many people post AM required or sorry "the thing" as they label it. An anti cheat would of course stop (or make it much more risky) to bot, that goes without saying. The point here is the player interacts with Pve and Pvp cheaters the most - outside of going to venues I suppose (My own past FC that was casual savage and ult "raiders" all used cheats and would talk about them frequently in discord - other than the one dude on ps5), therefore it would stands to reason that would be what most bring up.
Tell us when you find out. Maybe your perception of people using plugins is simply flawed.
People sue foreign companies regularly. This isn't new and there are ways to enforce it on a company such as SE. Class actions often lead to settlements and companies changing their practices. When a company choses to do business in a country, they have to follow local laws. And your 4th amendment is 100% irrelevant to this. How would them suing a company in the US make it so they would get sued in another country over privacy? This makes no sense. SE wouldn't sue a US company/person, in the US, based off of JP law, they would only be able to based off of US law. Which they can and would win now thanks to aimjunkies stupid counter suit against bungie. If SE wanted to sue a US company using JP law they would only be able to do so in JP and it would only effect the other companies goings on in JP. How is that hard to understand?...
