Sad to see you go but I'll probably not be too far behind you. Depends on how Pictomancer feels.

Its clear they don't want healer vets or mains or any semblance of proper healing. And if that's the case, maybe in 8.0 they should overhaul the role entirely by deleting it.

I've suggested before that since they seem to be designing healers with the intention that the worst possible player can play it with fun as a very distant second in consideration, why not just delete the role entirely and just slap 1/2 AI healer(s) into each group for every content so they can focus on the jobs they actually want to work on?

At least then we can stop having a small hope that they'll eventually realise their mistake and start fixing the healers.

Never gonna happen, it would cost them too many dollars from the miffed White Mage cosplayers. It'd be inviting the same furor that 1.0 did when it launched without the iconic FF jobs.
