Current hopes:

- Better custom options for pvp overall
- A better rank system
- Rival Wings roulette
- More skills for our classes
- A rework on SAM's LB
- Frequent balances than what we had this expansion
- An arena mode where we can do 2v2s/3v3s/etc.

Current personal expectations:

- PvP being solo q only in all modes
- Additiional restrictions to pvp
- Overall AOE nerf of some form
- No changes to rank CC

Remove the black screen and revive animation when revived.
Reduce abilities' stuns' and disables' duration in general to the maximum of 1 seconds, long stun and disable duration in a fast paced PVP game is not acceptable at all.
Fix the network latency and delay, add rollback system like Tekken 8 would be nice.

Just to elaborate on the "more official tournaments" wish - I'd like to see more tournaments like the one we saw at Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas where there were cash prizes.


There needs to be stakes for winning/losing the tournament, so I see the cash prizes as a good incentive for promoting a competitive environment. I'm not saying we need the prize pool to be like the Dota 2 International Tournament which had a $40 million prize pool, but SE could probably have more than a single $22,500 grand prize.

We also had Esports commentators giving play-by-play narration of every match. It was great and I hope to see more events like these from SE.

Re-enable it for the free trial like they promised they would four years ago when they 'temporarily' disabled it.

I'd like that too. Seems like a pretty easy fix.

Citizen, there would be a veritable boom in the player population of this game if Square hosted a tournament with a $40,000,000 prize pool. There would be tons of professional esports players switching to FFXIV to try their hand at winning first place in the acclaimed Crystalline Conflict!

Give Frontline & Rival Wings their own proper kits instead of using the ones balanced for CC matches.

Those two game modes (especially the latter) needs more love.

Having 2 teams with each team are comprised of 5/6 party members,

Everyone start at level 1 with the max level of 15/25, and each job have different stats' gain,

Players can earn gil by killing "lane creeps" or "jungle" or opposing team member, then spent gil to buy "relic" to boost your job's stats, etc etc

Let's not complicate things even further for the playerbase. This is simple enough. Everyone knows to focus towers and to focus the train (dragon) and merc (hearld) that appears. That works for me. This is not a complete disagreement. This is a 'don't you dare' xD

Add clemency for PLD Instead of life steal on Confiteor (cuz clemency is based)

Aye, is one things I don't like the FFXIV sub reddit, but still it's better for the said sub not to filled with nothing but salts and grievance LOL
