



The problem with the proposed design is that SGE's will only bad that way post lvl 90. In the vast majority of playtime, they won't be. That's the issue with having all these fun toys come in late.Seeing the Job Action trailer gave me some hope that we do have a chance in making the role better. SGE and WHM appearing to be going in the right direction, though some additional changes still need to be made. SCH and AST are unknown, so we'll have to wait and see, but I really REALLY want SGE to be the DPS healer that was promised.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
