    Billing issues update?

    Its been weeks since SE acknowledged there are billing issues. Can we get an update on what is happening? Some kind of estimate on things working again? An explanation of the problem?


    I'm 3 business days from the end of my billing cycle.
    -My card doesn't work to buy crysta
    -I use extra retainers, A game time card wont cover it.
    -I am not a customer of Paypal or Amazon pay.

    Customer service has had a ticket open with me for 3 weeks, and its just them telling me to do those same things over and over. (Your customer service team is truly bad at reviewing cases before they respond, and just repeating the same information.)

    Moderator; please don't just respond with a 'I understand you must be frustrated', and close/move the thread, that's even more frustrating, and makes people continue to open these threads looking for info. (I would have posted to one of the dozens of others you've closed/moved, if I had been able, instead of starting yet another thread about the same topic.)

    They resolved the issue with the Credit/Debit card.

    Ah yes, had to change to the NA lodestone to see the issue is still affecting NA Visa Debit users.

    Then you have a couple of options until it is resolved, sign up to the other payment providers or wait it out, unfortunately.

    They did not. I still receive a 'Card is not available' error.

    Same problem. If I lose my house, I'm just walking away from the game. A decade gone. You'd think a business would want your money.

    We do apologize for any inconvenience this recent payment update has caused you and your fellow adventurers. Unfortunately, the issue you are describing is something we are not able to assist with in the Technical Support Forums. In order get the proper support, you will need to contact the appropriate SQUARE ENIX Support Center (North America/Europe or Japan) depending on the region of the account the issue is occurring on. However, based on the responses it would appear that you and your fellow adventurers have already been in contact with the appropriate support team and that some form of troubleshooting was already provided but the issue still persists.

    From the information gathered, it appears that this is being looked into a lodestone post about the issue, the Visa Debit card issue was also made via the official lodestone and can be viewed here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...2906d71c19064c

    We suggest following up via the ticket submitted with the SQUARE ENIX Support Center in the event they may require more information regarding this issue to be looked into further. What we can also advise is to periodically check the lodestone for any updates regarding this and other possible related concerns.
