I think its nothing more than incompetence. My theory is that they found out that they could switch to a cheaper payment processor, didn't check that it supported all the payment methods their users need, and realized their mistake after the contract was signed.It also kinda mean they don't care when they remove the most used payment method of 2 countries that HAVE a localization. It's just such a stupid move "yeah, our game is in your language, but now most of you cannot pay your sub anymore because we removed the payment method that you all use". It's either a deliberate choice to sacrifice European market, either an awful strategical decision that show how out of touch they are (my guess is on the second one - and that's coming from someone that's not really impacted by this change, I'm neither French nor German, but still can see how this is a very bad move).
