If your healer dies, generally that means the entire party except the tank is fated to die since DPS don't have the healing or mitigation to survive unavoidable damage. Meanwhile, tanks can frequently survive without any outside help, making it easy to end up in situations where the entire party is on the floor watching the tank slowly DPS a boss to death.

So yeah, if the devs don't bring tank sustain back into the stratosphere, they definitely need to give every tank a raise; that way even if they can't die, they won't be the only person who gets to play.
