You don't get it, the rewards have to be reran for the sake of players who don't enjoy PvP, people who've never play ranked Crystalline Conflict, don't understand that there are winners and losers, and rather than recommending the system of Commendation Crystals to add at least some value, ask to use Trophy Crystals which can be received by simply running any casual mode making the item become less valuable, but by explaining that it's less valuable to give it out to everyone and that these points are why you disagree with it, you get to experience the passive aggressive forum-goers that tell you that your opinion doesn't matter, but their opinions do matter because they "aren't toxic" and it should be for everyone because they're OK with it, so who cares how you feel? CC still has top 100 rewards of adventure plates locked to season to season and no one complains about it simply because they're handed out so much that nobody even cares about these top 100 rewards.
Please understand that people will then attempt to make the "What if ultimate and savage clears only allowed loot for the first 100 clears?" not understanding that PvP rewards are different from PvE rewards become PvE rewards being "the first 100" means that alt-clears wouldn't get any loots, BiS would become locked to those who cleared first, meaning that people would just stop playing because they would be locked out of even improving their gear pass a certain level, and that by locking gear and loot of Savage after the first 100 clears, attempting to do an Ultimate would be even harder for those without the loot, and result in a snowball of the elite staying in the elite while those newer stay at the bottom until next floor tier.

And as many knows, in competitions where are winners who go home with a prize where those who didn't win won't.
This is an ingame activity for people who likes to compete, to fight for high scores, to claim rewards for the hard work they put in.
Where PvE content like Savage Raids is a personal challenge, not a competition against others.
This is how I see it anyways.
Can confirm on my end: I've done PvP (casual CC and frontline) ever since they introduced the series rewards. Never PvP'd before that and I am mainly doing it for the cosmetics. No interest in playing ranked with the win traders and cheaters.The only reason PvP got a popularity boost is because there's glamour that can be obtained by everyone. You can talk about "deserving" things all you want but most people play PvP for the glamour and as soon as you lock too much of it in ranked, it'll flop like it used to. We'll be back to a bunch of dedicated win traders and a handful of people who genuinely like PvP in this game complaining about it being ruined.
