Ideally, healers should have a few more attacks to spread that potency out into. But even going off of this anti-DPS action design they've been adamant about for the last couple of expansions, it would make a lot more sense to upgrade the DOT every expansion instead of the basic attack, and make that carry the bulk of the healer's DPS weight. That would actually take a lot of pressure off the healer to maintain very high DPS uptime. But then again, that would require the design team understand how healing actually works, and that really doesn't seem to be the case here.
Sage has failed to live up to the fantasy of a sci-fi DPS healer. Please change this for 8.0. Make Sage fast, exciting, and aggressive. It should feel like a healer that plays like a DPS. Empower the aspects of Sage's unique healing mechanics: Kardia and Eukrasia to give its healing playstyle more identity.
