That said. What is the full meaning of Forum?
Well.
A forum is a place, situation, or group in which people exchange ideas and discuss issues, especially important public issues.
So, don't feel discouraged. Acknowledge what you feel. You do have the right to do so. Why? Because it is a Forum.

The thing is, the complete lack of modding in the EN forums is completely eliminating any hope of reasonable discussion. Even if a few people are coming in with good faith, they're surrounded by people coming in with bad, and it makes any hope of discussing a very high-tension topic without imploding impossible. And I say complete lack of modding bc I've seen some outright racist posts still in existence hours after they were posted, much less people sniping at each other.

The current state of the forums means bad faith posters have driven out any hope of people reading anything as good faith, and that's not the fault of the people coming in now because I have always heard people describe the EN official forums as the most toxic place besides Twitter (which is its own level of hell) to try to discuss the game, long before I started playing myself. There's also no other place to offer feedback and expect it to have any chance of actually being read.

While they're fixing the lighting in the CC, they should update the color palette.
Eyebrows now look odd when picking light (hair)colors. It would be nice if we could pick them ourselves.

In my opinion, this is definitely not racism. It's simply a lack of basic social communication skills and aggression. It may also be a signal to treat the stomach, but this is not certain, I am not a doctor.

You made me think of it, and being bombarded with unwanted opinions when all you're trying to do is talk to the devs is just an awful way to send said feedback.

I guess the same could be said about positive feedback threads... This is why I'll keep saying that closed surveys would be way better than the forums when it comes to asking for feedback.

It may have actually been addressed at this point, since I reported it and don't remember which thread it was, but it was someone being really racist about the JP forums actually behaving like a properly moderated forum.

I think I know which one you meant. It was edited in a few minutes after it's been posted but there are probably dozen who actually seen that, plus somebody called them out for it lol.

Probably the same person but a later post that I guess was just dogwhistle enough to not get their ass immediately beat in the quotes, that or at the time the forum was moving fast enough that it was overlooked.

So, there is Moderation although some say there is none. Good to know.
