As someone who's been playing this game for quite a while, it's funny to see it finally get a female race option that isn't just Small Girl With Cat Ears/Horns while their male counterpart are larger and have more defined 'beast' traits, that people have been wanting forever, only for someone to complain that they're too masculine. If anything I think they could be even more beast-like.
There's plenty of cutesy uwu dainty Mega Fem race options out there. Let the Big Buff Women enjoyers have something for once.
What are you talking about there are only 2 small dainty fem race options, 3 if you count midlander.
So does that mean they'll get the Elezen hempen camise, like Viera gets Midlander? It's pretty but it isn't the one I'd expect them to get.I know that this isn't really the point of this thread, but just so you know, the Hrothgirl bodies are based on the Female Elezen body. They're just reskinned Elezen with a bit more mass and different posing structure. Female Elezen gained tail bones in their skeleton to support it.
Well yeah, that's three dainty small fem options. Fem Highlanders are taller and curvier but still VERY feminine. Fem Elezen are tall and slender supermodels, still very feminine, just like Viera. That leaves us with Lalas and Roes as the only choice you have it you don't want a super feminine character.
I fully expect them to get the Roegadyn hempen outfit because their bodies are so similar and the males also got it from Roegadyns. Viera males and females both got it from the same race (Midlander males and females).
There are even some lionesses with manes:I've been hoping they redesign irl lions myself. The females are way too bulky. And barely look different from their male counterparts aside from their lack of mane. Observe the hideous specimens below.
So I've taken it upon myself to rework them so they're way more feminine.
As you can see I've improved upon the face, legs, hips, chest and skin. Which will get rid of that pesky manliness.

Really disappointing how obvious the devs cut corners with this "fem lion" design and have been getting away with this for a few hundred years and counting, smh.![]()
I love femhroths. I agree they could give us even beastlier options. That would be very cool. But as a baseline they already look really good imo. They are a lot better than what I feared they would do with them tbh.
(I just wish they hadn't attached the hairstyles to the faces...)
For once, the female version of a somewhat bestial race isn't an embellished equivalent, as is the case with most games... Don't touch it, on the contrary.
Aora > a female version with a sexual dismorphism so strong that it's... strange.
Miqote > ... The female model is appreciated throughout the game for the ERP. Enough said. It's a shame, though, because the miqote lore is really nice.
Hrothgar > Badass females, though it's worth noting that unlike the males they have a straight posture. Once again a small concession to what I said in the preamble: badass, yes, but with a more classic beauty.
Trolls & Tauren, wow > Same thing. Male trolls are uniformly ugly by our standards; female trolls can be pretty.
Undead, wow > The male model has an option where the lower jaw is unhooked, the female model does not. The female model, incidentally, still has breasts, which is very odd.
Roe > the males clearly have hulk-like proportions. The females are very human, even if they are well built.
