I know that this isn't really the point of this thread, but just so you know, the Hrothgirl bodies are based on the Female Elezen body. They're just reskinned Elezen with a bit more mass and different posing structure. Female Elezen gained tail bones in their skeleton to support it.

They just look like cats, what else were they supposed to look like? haha Perhaps they need some calico fur patterns? (for people that don't know, almost every calico is female)
I've been hoping they redesign irl lions myself. The females are way too bulky. And barely look different from their male counterparts aside from their lack of mane. Observe the hideous specimens below.
So I've taken it upon myself to rework them so they're way more feminine.
As you can see I've improved upon the face, legs, hips, chest and skin. Which will get rid of that pesky manliness.
Oh oh OH! Mao knows point of thread (Mao raises hand)! Is so peoples like Vivian can post funs pictures of cutes fuzzy cats! Mao likes them pictures (urge to fetch whiffle sticks and brushes for the brushings of furs, rising)! Lady Fuzzy Cat gonna gets much brushings from Mao!

I'm gonna humor you, because I found this thread interesting. I thought that female Hrothgar looks pretty close to the concept art they have made, but hey, let's look at other games and how they do furry male/female characters, shall we?
Guild Wars 2 Charr
WoW Tauren and Worgen
Archeage Firran
Elder Scrolls Online Khajiit and Argonians
So, I don't know man, I think SE did a decent job here.
The tiger and leopard are definitely female because they do not have dewlaps. The black panther and snow leopard are more difficult to tell without seeing them next to the same cat of the opposite sex. They are all beautiful animals in the context of 'nature beauty'.
The thing about male Hrothgars is that they are still quite handsome, and even dapper depending on glamour choices. I think simply by being male, they can get away with having a "beastly" aesthetic to them. Female avatars don't have this privilege, which is why I don't find female Hrothgar or Roes all that attractive. This concept also applies to the Viera as I equate bunnies with softer more feminine features, which is why I think the female Viera are drop dead gorgeous, and the males aren't masculine enough to be attractive.
But hey, players wanted a beast race, and they got it. So all power to them.
