Masterpiece, Been looking at this for a whole 5 minutes.

That tattoo/Paint always had that effect.

But with all the fuzziness, it just adds that extra layer.

It's like I can see it printed on twice, on the skin, and the fur above it.

Edit: I wonder which faces end up to be the most popular. Going by the screenshots here all seem to get quite some love, but only a very tiny amount of the player base posts in the forum, and only the part of the players on PC is dabbling around with the benchmark. So this is not really representative.

I have seen a few polls on twitter. They are not all the same, but there seems to be a trend.
It's : Face 3, Face 2 or Face 1 and then Face 4.
That is the majority of what I have seen. With Faces 2 and 1 being very close in number and some polls haveing either or for nr.2. With face 3 being the most popular and face for being the least.

I think Face 4 is cute, but it is very hard to make it look purely bestial, which is the whole charm of the race. It's also a reason why Face 4 male Hrothgar is the least popular.

The hairstyles being face locked doesn't help. I like face 1 and 2 the most, but 3 and 4 have the best hairstyles imo (funny enough, same case with the males: face 1 and 2 being more popular, but 3 and 4 having good hairstyles, I wonder if it's intentional to "balance them out" but I digress)

THIS!!! So much this. For my male Hrothgar I loved face 2! But face 1 had the best hair!
Now for female Hrothgar I love face 3, but my favourite hair is on face 4, I can't win!
They need to unlock the hairs!
The good part is the Meteor manbun, that gives me hope that we will not have a repeat of male Hrothgar release with the Aesthetician, since they can have shared hairstyles.

I thought they unlocked them in game and gave them the same hairstyles as everyone else now in the aesthetician. I noticed in the benchmark the hrothgirl hairstyles were locked to certain faces like Au Ra horns are. My retainers are on missions overnight so I can’t check in game Hrothgar guy styles atm.

The race specific hairstyles are still locked to their original faces (4 options total, 2 major styles with 2 variants each), but each face has access to the same pool of "universal" hairstyles that have been added since their introduction.
